Biography:

Prof. Sabehouki is a Chemical Engineer with a Diplome  d’Ingenieur d’Etat from l’Ecole Nationale Polytechnique, an MSc in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh USA.  She is currently heading the Water and Environmental Engineering Research Group in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at University of Surrey that hosts the Centre for Environmental and Health Engineering (CEHE) and the Robens Centre for Public and Environmental Health, jointly designated World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for the Protection of Water Quality and Human Health.  Her research interests are focussed on advanced wastewater treatment and reuse; resource recovery; biofuels and sustainable waste treatment & management technologies.  Dr Ouki has in excess of 100 paper publications with a citation index in excess of 2150 and an h index of 18.  She is also the Associate Editor of Journal of Environmental Management and is on the editorial board of several international peer review journals.
