Biography:

Dr. Marco Lotti from 1995 to 1999 he was member of the surgical staff of the European Institute of Oncology (Milan - Italy) and member of the Scientific Committee for colorectal cancer screening. He was tutor in Master Courses on Mini-invasive Surgery at the Aesculapium of Tuttlingen (Germany) and the IRCAD of Strasbourg (France) and was author of videos on Laparoscopic Surgical Technique He is member of the Gastro-Intestinal Oncology Group, the Group for Treatment of Peritoneal Carcinomatosis from Ovarian Cancer and the Rare Tumors Group at Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital (Italy). He is investigator of the CHORINE Study – multicentre clinical trial on Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) for upfront treatment of advanced epithelial ovarian cancer. He was a physician of the VIDAS Association of Milan, delivering free-at- home medical assistance and treatment to patients with advanced cancer. He is the creator of the Laparoscopy-enhanced HIPEC technique and of an original technique of laparoscopic right colectomy. He is committed to surgical treatment of gastrointestinal cancer, peritoneal surface malignancies and tumors of the adrenals, the paraganglia and the retroperitoneum.
